Riding lessons at Baymount Acres Farm are available to ages 5 and up.  You will learn the basics of horsemanship from catching your horse, grooming, tacking, mounting, dismounting, guiding, patterns in the arena, balanced and secure seat through excercises on horseback to finally a trail ride to improve and enhance your abilities.  Lessons are fashioned after Sally Swifts balanced seat theory to help you become secure in the saddle.   We offer western and english riding for your choice and we have endurance trail saddles if you choose.  Worry free choices, if haven't ridden before and aren't sure what seat you want, we will help you decide through explanation of the different seats and styles of riding.  Please remember to be at least 10 minutes early for a lesson to tack up.  Lessons start on the hour.
