Tango is a 15.2 hand, 8 year old, sharpe looking TWH. This is a quiet, laid back horse with a good personality. He is willing to please and listens well. Tango is an all around favorite at the barn and is loved by children and adults. He is one of those horses that anyone can ride. He is a smooth ride and trail and has field trial experience. Tango has crossed the wide Yadkin River in Class 1 water. This horse can be put in different situations with ease.

• Stands for farrier and grooming
• Loads and trailers well
• Lots of trail experience
• Very beautiful red coat with lighter mane & tail
• Crosses rivers, creeks and goes straight up challenging trails excellently

Disclaimer:  Tango has choked on pelleted feed once in the past.   Our vet recommends that pelleted feed be soaked with water or use whole oats.
He of course does great with grass or hay and has not had a problem since.

Dillon

Dillon is approximately 10 years old. He is a sharpe looking 14.3 Tennessee Walking Horse Gelding. This little horse could be dubbed “little big man” as his size does not interfere with doing his job. He likes to go and can motor along with ease. Dillon appears to have come from a show background which is a plus as he’s obviously had a lot of saddle time. He is easy for the beginner to ride but lots of fun for the more experienced rider. Dillon has a sensible head, his ground manners are good. He has been trail ridden, crosses water (including the wide Yadkin River, and is good in groups. He has been to field trials and is good with that environment. A friend in his 80’s loves to ride this nice little horse!

Gus

Gus is a 6 year old, 15 hand Tennessee Walking Gelding. He has good feet that do not require shoes. Gus is a gentle personable boy that has the gait everyone wants. This is a classic true gaited head banging TWH. He is stout with good bone, and has good ground manners. Gus is a fun ride, goes well in a group and has field trial experience. He is another excellent prospect from Baymount Farm.

Drifter

Tennessee Walking Horse

Drifter is a 6 year old, Dapple Grey Tennessee Walking Horse.  At 15 hands, he is a good size for the person that does not want a tall horse and stands at park for easy mounting.  He has a smooth ride and a nice canter.  Drifter is a sweet horse with an easy going disposition and a desire to please.  He has been to field trials, trail ridden, and started driving on a cart.

Scout

Trail/Pleasure Horse

Scout is a stout 12 year old Spotted Saddle Horse. At 14.2 hands, he is the right size for many individuals. Scout is smooth at any speed. He is safe for the beginning rider and has been used as a lesson horse for young children. I rode Scout in field trials last winter which makes him accustom to a lot of activities and distractions which he handled with flying colors. He is family friendly and will catch you in the pasture. A fun comfortable ride.      

Maryland

The first thing you will say about this 5-year- old mare is “she’s pretty.” Maryland is a beautiful and calm. She moves out smooth and clean on a loose rein or gathered up. This attribute makes her ride easy for the beginner. She is a real pleasure to ride on the rail or on the trail. Maryland is traffic and trail safe. This is a horse that you can enjoy for years to come.

Sage

Trail/Pleasure Horse Deluxe

Sage is an 8-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding that is every thing you want in a pleasure horse. In my book, that is manners, looks, and a Cadillac ride. He will say yes when you point him up or down any trail, thru water, mud, or deep brush. This horse has been ridden in field trials, traffic, and the challenging trails of Mount Rogers, Virginia with a willingness that you will appreciate. He has all the ground manners and is a joy to ride.  He moves out smooth and has a rack that won’t quit. If you are looking for that special horse that you haven’t found, Sage is your man.

Moriah is a nice brood mare. She has good ground manners and has produces to nice babies. See Peek A Boo. Moriah loves to be groomed, is easy to lead and will make a smooth ride and a good trail horse.

Walker

Tennesse Walking Horse

This is the hard to find experienced horse. Walker can take care of the rider with no experience and yet is fun for the experienced hand. He will go anywhere you point him, including the challenging trails of Mt. Rogers. This horse has been there and done that. A comfortable ride that gaits easy and smooth.Walker was my best personal horse for 3 years. He has field trial experience, ground ties, and stands for gun fire. Walker is stout with good feet. He has the desire to go, is a good looker with power and a temperament you'll love. Walker is 17 to 19 years old.

Peek A Boo

Trail/Pleasure Horse

You won’t have to chase this mare in the pasture. She loves people and comes a runnin’ when want her. “Boo” is a quick learner with a soft mouth. She responds well to voice commands and leg aids.  She has been on the road, around traffic, and in the woods.  Logs and obstacles pose no problem.  Boo loves to move out in smooth clean motion.  At 14.3 hands she is easy to mount. This girl has the potential to make a great family horse.

Checkers

Trail/Pleasure Horse

Checkers is a beautiful spotted TWH, well put together with a natural gait. Born with her head in the right place (physically and mentally). Blue roan on white.  She is willing and easy to train.  She has a soft mouth, responds to leg aids and verbal commands.  At 14.1 hands you won’t have to step high.  She has been on the road, around cars and on wooded trails.  She loads, clips, and has good ground manners.  Checkers will be 3 years old in June and can bring you years of pleasure.  Her gait is smooth and clean.  She loves attention, and has plenty of chrome.
